H.F. 2364 Section 1. Section 461A.3, Code 2024, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 3. The department shall research and 3 develop recommendations to increase the accessibility of people 4 with disabilities in state parks and public recreation. The 5 department shall provide public information on the department’s 6 internet site and in brochures about opportunities for people 7 with disabilities in state parks and public recreation. 8 EXPLANATION 9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 11 This bill requires the department of natural resources 12 (department) to research and develop recommendations for the 13 accessibility of people with disabilities in state parks 14 and public recreation.
