H.F. 2221 Section 1. Section 331.304, subsection 10, Code 2024, is 1 amended by striking the subsection. 2 Sec. 2. Section 364.3, subsection 9, Code 2024, is amended 3 by striking the subsection. 4 EXPLANATION 5 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 6 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 7 This bill relates to rent limitations on private properties. 8 Current law prohibits a county or city from adopting or 9 enforcing an ordinance imposing any limitation on the amount 10 of rent that can be charged for leasing private residential or 11 commercial property.
