H.F. 2107 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 280.36 Posting of mental health 1 resources online. 2 A school district and an accredited nonpublic school shall 3 post on the school district’s or school’s internet site a list 4 of mental health resources available at the school district or 5 school. Such resources shall include but are not limited to 6 resources for identification and treatment of student mental 7 health needs as well as mental health resources identified 8 on the internet site of your life Iowa or the your life Iowa 9 successor program. 10 EXPLANATION 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 12 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 13 This bill requires a school district and an accredited 14 nonpublic school to post on the school district’s or school’s 15 internet site a list of mental health resources available at 16 the school district or school, including but not limited to 17 resources identified in the bill. 18 -1- LSB 5874YH (4) 90 je/jh 1/ 1
