H.F. 185 Section 1. Section 15E.370, subsection 4, paragraph e, Code 1 2023, is amended to read as follows: 2 e. The business must employ less than fifty seventy-five 3 full-time, nonseasonal individuals. 4 Sec. 2. APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to businesses that 5 apply on or after July 1, 2023, to the butchery innovation and 6 revitalization program established in section 15E.370. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill requires a business to employ less than 75 11 full-time, nonseasonal individuals to be eligible to apply for 12 the butchery innovation and revitalization program (program) 13 established in Code section 15E.370. Under current law, a 14 business must employ less than 50 individuals to be eligible 15 to apply for the program.
