honor
Joshua
William
Bronsink.

WHEREAS,
Joshua
(Josh)
William
Bronsink
was
born
in
2
Fort
Collins,
Colorado,
on
March
5,
1974,
as
the
oldest
3
of
seven
children;
and
4
WHEREAS,
Josh
and
Kelly
Bronsink
were
united
in
5
marriage
on
September
21,
2002,
and
shared
a
family
6
with
their
two
beloved
children,
Samuel
and
Audrey
7
Bronsink;
and
8
WHEREAS,
Josh,
a
graduate
of
Perry
High
School
and
9
the
University
of
Northern
Iowa,
began
work
in
the
10
Senate
on
September
19,
2001;
and
11
WHEREAS,
during
his
career
as
a
legislative
analyst
12
with
the
Senate
Republican
Caucus
Staff,
Josh
staffed
13
a
number
of
interim
and
standing
committees,
including
14
the
State
Government
Committee,
and
beginning
in
2011
15
the
Human
Resources
Committee
which
was
closest
to
his
16
heart;
and
17
WHEREAS,
in
handling
complex
and
contentious
18
legislative
issues,
Josh
exhibited
a
presence
of
calm,
19
deliberation,
conviction,
and
astute
judgment;
and
20
WHEREAS,
to
work
with
Josh,
and
to
know
him
as
a
21
friend,
was
to
appreciate
his
gentle
manner,
humor,
and
22
commitment
to
family,
hope,
and
faith;
and
23
WHEREAS,
Josh
passed
away
on
March
11,
2022,
24
leaving
us
to
remember
his
dedication
to
the
process
25
of
advancing
policy
objectives
to
improve
the
lives
of
26
others;
NOW
THEREFORE,

BE
IT
RESOLVED
BY
THE
SENATE,
That
the
Senate

years

service
and
his
contributions
to
the
Iowa
General

Assembly

the

extend
their
deepest
sympathies
to
Josh’s

family,
including
Kelly,
Samuel,
and
Audrey
