S.F. 293 Section 1. Section 331.397, subsection 4, Code 2021, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . g. Transportation services. 3 Sec. 2. Section 331.397, subsection 5, paragraph a, Code 4 2021, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 5 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (6) Transportation services. 6 Sec. 3. Section 331.397A, subsection 4, Code 2021, is 7 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 8 NEW PARAGRAPH . c. Transportation services. 9 EXPLANATION 10 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 11 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 12 This bill includes transportation services as a core 13 services domain under the regional mental health and disability 14 services system for both children and adults. 15 Under current law, mental health and disability services 16 regions provide disability-related services and supports 17 including certain core services to persons who meet regional 18 eligibility criteria based on disability, residence, and income 19 level. 20 -1- LSB 2236XS (4) 89 dg/rh 1/ 1
