subsection

Code
2022,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

“Company”
means
any
business
or
business
entity
,

including
a
wholly
owned
subsidiary,
majority-owned
subsidiary,

parent
company,
or
affiliate
of
such
business
or
business

entity,
that
is
publicly
traded
and
that
is
not
based
in
the

United
States.

inclusion

this

does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the

substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
public
sector
restrictions
regarding

companies
boycotting
Israel
pursuant
to
Code
chapter
12J
apply

to
a
wholly
owned
subsidiary,
majority-owned
subsidiary,
parent

company,
or
affiliate
of
such
company.
