92.8,
subsection
10,
Code
2022,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

10.
Occupations
involved
in
the
operation
of
certain
3
power-driven
bakery
machines.
Except
as
otherwise
provided
4
in
this
subsection,
this
subsection
does
not
apply
to
the
5
operation
of
pizza
dough
rollers
that
are
a
type
of
dough
6
sheeter
that
have
been
constructed
with
safeguards
contained
in
7
the
basic
design
so
as
to
prevent
fingers,
hands,
or
clothing
8
from
being
caught
in
the
in-running
point
of
the
rollers,
9
that
have
gears
that
are
completely
enclosed,
and
that
have
10
microswitches
that
disengage
the
machinery
if
the
backs
or
11
sides
of
the
rollers
are
removed,
only
when
all
the
safeguards
12
detailed
in
this
subsection
are
present
on
the
machinery,
are
13
operational,
and
have
not
been
overridden.
However,
this
14
subsection
does
apply
to
the
setting
up,
adjusting,
repairing,
15
oiling,
or
cleaning
of
pizza
dough
rollers
as
described
in
this
16
subsection.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
19
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
creates
an
exception
to
the
provision
that
a
person
21
under
the
age
of
18
is
prohibited
from
working
at
an
occupation
22
involved
in
the
operation
of
certain
power-driven
bakery
23
machines
by
allowing
a
person
under
the
age
of
18
to
operate
24
power-driven
pizza
dough
rollers
that
are
equipped
with
certain
25
safety
features
that
are
operational
and
not
overridden.
26
However,
the
bill
does
not
allow
a
person
under
the
age
of
18
to
27
set
up,
adjust,
repair,
oil,
or
clean
a
pizza
dough
roller.
