to

Hunting
from
aircraft
or
snowmobiles
prohibited

A
Except
as
provided
in
subsection
2,
a
person,
either
5
singly
or
as
one
of
a
group
of
persons,
shall
not
intentionally
6
kill
or
wound,
attempt
to
kill
or
wound,
or
pursue
any
animal,
7
fowl,
or
fish
from
or
with
an
aircraft
in
flight
or
from
or
with
8
any
self-propelled
vehicles
designed
for
travel
on
snow
or
ice
9
which
that
utilize
sled
type
runners,
or
skis,
or
an
endless
10
belt
tread,
or
wheel
,
or
any
combination
thereof
,
and
which
11
that
are
commonly
known
as
snowmobiles.

For
purposes
of
controlling
the
feral
hog
population,
13
a
person
may
take
feral
hogs
on
the
person’s
property,
or
the
14
property
of
another
with
permission
from
the
owner
of
the
other
15
property,
from
an
aircraft
in
flight
over
the
property.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
members

the
general
assembly.

This
bill
relates
to
hunting
feral
hogs
from
an
aircraft.

Current
law
prohibits
a
person
from
intentionally
killing
or
21
wounding,
or
attempting
to
kill
or
wound,
or
pursuing
any
22
animal,
fowl,
or
fish
from
or
with
an
aircraft
in
flight
or
23
from
a
snowmobile.
The
bill
authorizes
a
person
to
take
feral
24
hogs
on
the
person’s
property,
or
the
property
of
another
25
with
permission
from
the
owner
of
the
other
property,
from
an
26
aircraft
in
flight
over
the
property.
