NEW SECTION . 504.103 Limitation on requirements 1 imposed on corporations. 2 A state agency or state official shall not impose any 3 requirement on a corporation that is more stringent, 4 restrictive, or expansive than requirements in Iowa or federal 5 law. Any requirement imposed on a corporation contrary to this 6 section is void. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill prohibits a state agency or state official from 11 imposing any requirement on a nonprofit corporation that is 12 more stringent, restrictive, or expansive than requirements in 13 Iowa or federal law.
