Section 256A.3, subsections 3 and 7, Code 2021, 1 are amended by striking the subsections. 2 EXPLANATION 3 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 4 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 5 This bill strikes two of the child development coordinating 6 council’s statutory duties: 1) the duty to biennally develop 7 an inventory of child development services provided to at-risk 8 three-year and four-year-old children in this state, and 2) 9 the duty to encourage the establishment of regional councils 10 designed to facilitate the development on a regional basis of 11 programs for at-risk three-year and four-year-old children. 12 -1- LSB 1424XD (2) 89 kh/jh 1/ 1
