The
commission
to
create
sister-state
relationships
in

Africa
is
established
within
the
authority
for
the
purpose
4
of
establishing
economic
and
cultural
relationships
with
5
governmental
entities
or
regions
in
Africa
to
enable
the
6
creation
of
sister-state
relationships.
7
2.
Members
of
the
commission
must
include
community
leaders
8
from
throughout
the
state
as
appointed
by
the
director.
9
3.
The
authority
shall
provide
the
commission
with
staff
and
10
administrative
support.
11
4.
The
commission
shall
submit
an
annual
report
by
March
12
31
to
the
general
assembly,
and
to
the
chairperson
and
the
13
vice-chairperson
of
the
international
relations
committee,
that
14
provides
all
of
the
following
information:

a.
The
name
of
each
commission
member,
and
the
city
and
16
county
in
which
each
commission
member
resides.

b.
A
brief
description
of
each
economic
relationship
that
18
has
been
developed
with
a
governmental
entity
or
region
in
19
Africa.

c.
A
brief
description
of
each
cultural
relationship
that

has
been
developed
with
a
governmental
entity
or
region
in
22
Africa.

d.
A
brief
description
of
the
commission’s
goals
for
the
24
next
calendar
year.

e.
The
commission’s
recommendations
for
furthering
the
26
goal
of
the
commission
to
create
sister-state
relationships
in

Africa.
