H.F. 833 Section 1. Section 562B.10, Code 2021, is amended by 1 striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof the 2 following: 3 562B.10 Terms, conditions, and policies of rental agreements. 4 Property owners of manufactured home communities or mobile 5 home parks shall work to reform terms, conditions, and policies 6 of rental agreements in the property owner’s manufactured home 7 community or mobile home park. 8 Sec. 2. Section 562B.27A, subsection 1, unnumbered 9 paragraph 1, Code 2021, is amended to read as follows: 10 A landlord’s written notice of termination to the tenant 11 required under section 562B.10, subsection 5 , a notice of 12 termination required under section 562B.25 , a notice of 13 termination and notice to quit required under section 562B.25A , 14 or a notice to quit required by section 648.3 , shall be served 15 upon the tenant according to one or more of the following 16 methods: 17 EXPLANATION 18 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 19 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 20 This bill relates to rental agreements terms, conditions, 21 and policies for manufactured home communities or mobile home 22 parks. 23 The bill provides that property owners of manufactured home 24 communities or mobile home parks shall work to reform terms, 25 conditions, and policies of rental agreements in the property 26 owner’s manufactured home community or mobile home park.
