limited
to
flyers,
business
cards,

signs,
or
pictures
that
display
or
offer
services

or
goods
to
be
sold
or
exchanged,
or
that
provide
political

information,
upon
a
vehicle
without
the
consent
of
the
owner,

lessee,
or
person
in
lawful
possession
of
the
vehicle.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
trespass
includes
the
unwanted
12
placement
of
advertising
or
promotional
materials,
including
13
but
not
limited
to
flyers,
business
cards,
placards,
signs,
or
14
pictures
that
display
or
offer
services
or
goods
to
be
sold
15
or
exchanged,
or
that
provide
political
information,
upon
a
16
vehicle.

A
person
who
commits
trespass
commits
a
simple
misdemeanor,
18
aggravated
misdemeanor,
or
serious
misdemeanor
depending
on
the
19
circumstances
of
the
offense.
20
For
purposes
of
trespass,
a
simple
misdemeanor
is
punishable
21
by
a
scheduled
fine
of
$260
for
a
first
violation,
$645
for
22
a
second
violation,
and
$1,285
for
a
third
or
subsequent
23
violation.
A
serious
misdemeanor
is
punishable
by
confinement
24
for
no
more
than
one
year
and
a
fine
of
at
least
$430
but
not
25
more
than
$2,560.
An
aggravated
misdemeanor
is
punishable
by
26
confinement
for
no
more
than
two
years
and
a
fine
of
at
least
27
$855
but
not
more
than
$8,540.
