H.F. 441 Section 1. Section 598.21C, subsection 1, Code 2021, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . 0l. Violation of a protective order or a 3 no-contact order issued against a party. 4 EXPLANATION 5 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 6 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 7 This bill provides that in determining whether a substantial 8 change in circumstances exists as a basis for modification of 9 a child, spousal, or medical support order, the court shall 10 consider the violation of a protective order or a no-contact 11 order issued against a party. 12 -1- LSB 2368HH (2) 89 pf/rh 1/ 1
