H.F. 2366 Section 1. Section 26.7, subsection 1, paragraph a, Code 1 2022, is amended to read as follows: 2 a. The time , and place , and manner for filing sealed 3 proposals. 4 Sec. 2. Section 26.7, Code 2022, is amended by adding the 5 following new subsection: 6 NEW SUBSECTION . 1A. The notice to bidders may provide that 7 bids may be received in an electronic format as determined by 8 the governmental entity. 9 EXPLANATION 10 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 11 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 12 This bill allows a governmental entity in a notice to bidders 13 for a public improvement contract under Code chapter 26 to 14 provide that bids may be received in an electronic format. 15 -1- LSB 6173HV (1) 89 ec/rn 1/ 1
