H.F. 2249 Section 1. Section 123.30, subsection 3, paragraph e, Code 1 2022, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 2 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (3) Notwithstanding any provision of 3 this chapter to the contrary, the holder of a class “E” liquor 4 control license may also hold a class “A” beer permit for the 5 premises licensed under a class “E” liquor control license for 6 purposes of manufacturing canned cocktails. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill allows a holder of a class “E” liquor control 11 license to also hold a class “A” beer permit for the purposes 12 of manufacturing canned cocktails. 13 -1- LSB 5136YH (1) 89 ec/rn 1/ 1
