is
appropriated
from
the
general
fund
of
the
state

to
the
department
of
human
services
the
following
amount,
or
so

much
thereof
as
is
necessary,
for
the
purposes
designated:

To
develop
and
administer
a
public
awareness
campaign
for

the
state
family
planning
services
program
created
in
section

217.41B
to
promote
participation
in
and
increase
access
to

the
services
provided
under
the
program
by
targeting
eligible

individuals
and
potential
service

The
department
shall
submit
a
report
regarding
the
details

the
public
awareness
campaign
to
the
governor

assembly
by

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does

agreement
with

This
bill
appropriates
$100,000
to
the
department
of
human
19
services
(DHS)
to
develop
and
administer
a
public
awareness
20
campaign
for
the
state
family
planning
services
program
to
21
promote
participation
in
and
increase
access
to
the
services
22
provided
under
the
program
by
targeting
eligible
individuals
23
and
potential
service
providers.
The
bill
requires
DHS
to
24
submit
a
report
regarding
the
details
and
outcomes
of
the
25
public
awareness
campaign
to
the
governor
and
the
general
26
assembly
by
October
1,
2020.
