CHILD
SUPPORT
COOPERATION
AS
A
CONDITION
OF
ELIGIBILITY.
The

department
of
human
services
shall
require,
as
a
condition
of
3
eligibility
for
the
supplemental
nutrition
assistance
program,
4
that
an
individual
cooperate
with
the
child
support
recovery
5
unit
in
establishing
and
enforcing
a
child
support
order
6
pursuant
to
7
C.F.R.
§273.11(o)
and
(p).

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
9
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
department
of
human
services
to
11
require,
as
a
condition
of
eligibility
for
the
supplemental
12
nutrition
assistance
program,
that
an
individual
cooperate
with
13
the
child
support
recovery
unit
in
establishing
and
enforcing
a
14
child
support
order
pursuant
to
federal
law.
