Section
483A.8B,
subsection
1,
Code
2020,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

1.
A
person
who
is
a
resident
and
who
is
seventy
years
3
of
age
or
older
may
be
issued
one
special
senior
statewide
4
antlerless
deer
only
crossbow
deer
hunting
license
to
hunt
deer
5
during
bow
season
as
established
by
rule
by
the
commission.
6
A
person
may
also
receive
such
special
license
if
the
person
7
is
a
resident
who
is
sixty-five
years
of
age
or
older
and
has
8
purchased
a
lifetime
hunting
license
as
established
by
rule
by
9
the
commission.
A
person
who
obtains
a
license
to
hunt
deer
10
under
this
section
is
not
required
to
pay
the
wildlife
habitat
11
fee
but
shall
be
otherwise
qualified
to
hunt
deer
in
this
state
12
and
shall
purchase
a
resident
hunting
license
that
does
not
13
include
the
wildlife
habitat
fee.

Sec.
2.
Section
483A.8B,
Code
2020,
is
amended
by
adding
the
15
following
new
subsection:

A
lifetime
hunting
and
fishing
combined

license
purchased
pursuant
to
section
483A.24,
subsection
16,

does
not
satisfy
the
lifetime
hunting
license
requirement
of

subsection
1.

Current
law
allows
a
person
who
is
a
resident
who
is
70
24
years
of
age
or
older
to
be
issued
one
special
senior
statewide

antlerless
deer
only
crossbow
deer
hunting
license
to
hunt
26
deer
during
bow
season
as
established
by
rule
by
the
natural
27
resource
commission.
This
bill
allows
a
resident
who
is
65
28
years
of
age
or
older
to
be
issued
a
senior
crossbow
license
29
if
the
person
has
purchased
a
lifetime
hunting
license
as
30
established
by
rule
by
the
commission.
31
A
lifetime
hunting
and
fishing
combined
license
available
32
to
a
resident
of
Iowa
who
has
served
in
the
armed
forces
of
the
33
United
States
on
federal
active
duty
and
who
was
disabled
or
34
was
a
prisoner
of
war
during
that
veteran’s
military
service
