H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 8A.321, Code 2019, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 15. Prepare an annual report listing any 3 state building, as defined in section 8A.318, that is vacant 4 and submit the annual report to the legislative services agency 5 and the department of management on or before January 15 of 6 each year. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 The bill requires the director of the department of 11 administrative services to prepare an annual report of vacant 12 state buildings and to submit the report to the legislative 13 services agency and the department of management on or before 14 January 15 of each year. 15 -1- LSB 1114YC (2) 88 ec/rn 1/ 1
