AREA
REVITALIZATION
STUDY

REPORT.
1
1.
The
department
of
transportation,
in
collaboration
with

the
Iowa
finance
authority
and
the
Iowa
economic
development
3
authority,
shall
conduct
a
study
on
how
rest
areas
in
this
4
state
can
be
revitalized
and
updated.
The
study
shall
include
5
a
review
of
current
conditions
of
existing
rest
areas
and
an
6
evaluation
of
the
needs
of
the
traveling
public.

2.
The
department
of
transportation,
in
collaboration
with
8
the
Iowa
finance
authority
and
the
Iowa
economic
development
9
authority,
shall
submit
a
report
containing
the
study’s
10
findings
and
recommendations
to
the
general
assembly
on
or
11
before
December
31,
2020.

This
bill
