H.F. 2410 Section 1. Section 483A.8B, subsection 1, Code 2020, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 1. A person who is a resident and who is seventy sixty-five 3 years of age or older may be issued one special senior 4 statewide antlerless deer only crossbow deer hunting license 5 to hunt deer during bow season as established by rule by the 6 commission. A person who obtains a license to hunt deer under 7 this section is not required to pay the wildlife habitat fee 8 but shall be otherwise qualified to hunt deer in this state and 9 shall purchase a resident hunting license that does not include 10 the wildlife habitat fee. 11 EXPLANATION 12 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 13 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 14 Current law allows a person who is a resident who is 70 15 years of age or older to be issued one special senior statewide 16 antlerless deer only crossbow deer hunting license to hunt 17 deer during bow season as established by rule by the natural 18 resource commission.
