H.F. 2407 Section 1. Section 423.2, subsection 6, paragraph ak, Code 1 2020, is amended to read as follows: 2 ak. Parking Privately owned, for-profit facilities. 3 Sec. 2. RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY. This Act applies 4 retroactively to January 1, 2008. 5 EXPLANATION 6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 8 This bill exempts from the sales and use tax the services 9 provided by parking facilities if the parking facility is not a 10 privately owned, for-profit facility.
