Section
1.
Section
425.15,
Code
2020,
is
amended
by
adding
1
the
following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

a.
Except
as
provided
in
paragraph

“b”
,
the
name
and
address
of
an
individual
allowed
a
credit

under
this
section
and
maintained
by
the
county
recorder,

county
assessor,
city
assessor,
or
other
entity
is
confidential

information,
unless
otherwise
ordered
by
a
court
or
released
7
by
the
lawful
custodian
of
the
records
pursuant
to
state
or
8
federal
law.

b.
Upon
request,
a
county
recorder,
county
assessor,
city
10
assessor,
or
other
entity
may
share
information
as
described
in
11
paragraph
“a”
to
a
county
veterans
service
officer
for
purposes
12
of
providing
information
on
benefits
and
services
available
to
13
veterans
and
their
families.

426A.13,
Code
2020,
is
amended
by
adding
the

following
new
subsection:

the

of
the
records
pursuant
to

or
federal
law.

information

for

bill
upon
