H.F. 2269 Section 1. MEDICAID HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES 1 ELDERLY WAIVER MAXIMUM. The department of human services shall 2 eliminate the monthly budget maximum or cap for individuals 3 eligible for the Medicaid home and community-based services 4 elderly waiver. The department shall track the average amount 5 expended per waiver recipient each fiscal year beginning July 6 1, 2020, and shall report the information annually to the 7 governor and the general assembly by October 1. 8 EXPLANATION 9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 11 This bill requires the department of human services to 12 eliminate the monthly budget maximum or cap for individuals 13 eligible for the Medicaid home and community-based services 14 elderly waiver.
