H.F. 2128 Section 1. STATE CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROVIDER 1 REIMBURSEMENT —— DEFINITION OF INFANT AND TODDLER. The 2 department of human services shall amend its administrative 3 rules pursuant to chapter 17A to define “infant and toddler” 4 as a child between the ages of two weeks and three years for 5 purposes of reimbursement rates for infant and toddler child 6 care providers reimbursed under the state child care assistance 7 program. 8 EXPLANATION 9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 11 This bill directs the department of human services to amend 12 its administrative rules to define “infant and toddler” as 13 a child between the ages of two weeks and three years for 14 purposes of reimbursement rates for infant and toddler child 15 care providers reimbursed under the state child care assistance 16 program. 17 -1- LSB 5916YH (3) 88 as/rh 1/ 1
