S.F. _____ Section 1. STATE SCHOOL FOUNDATION PROGRAM —— FUNDING —— 1 INTENT. It is the intent of the general assembly to establish 2 funding amounts within the state school foundation program 3 under chapter 257 for the budget year beginning July 1, 2018. 4 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT. This Act, being deemed of 5 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill provides that it is the intent of the general 10 assembly to establish funding amounts within the state school 11 foundation program under Code chapter 257 for the budget year 12 beginning July 1, 2018. 13 The bill takes effect upon enactment. 14 -1- LSB 6154XC (1) 87 md/jh 1/ 1
