Code
2018,
is
amended
by
adding

the
following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

The
riding
time
between
a
pupil’s

designated
stop
on
the
regular
school
bus
route
and
the
pupil’s

school
of
attendance
shall
be
as
determined
by
the
board
of

directors
of
the
school
district.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
authorizes
the
board
of
directors
of
a
school

district
to
determine
the
riding
time
for
pupils
on
a
regular

school
bus
route.
