S.F. 268 Section 1. Section 602.1205, Code 2017, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 3. The office of the clerk of the district 3 court shall be open to the public a minimum of seven and 4 one-half hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday 5 through Friday, except for legal public holidays. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill requires an office of a clerk of the district 10 court to keep the office open a minimum of seven and one-half 11 hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday, 12 except for legal public holidays as set out in Code section 13 1C.1. 14 -1- LSB 2313XS (4) 87 ec/rj 1/ 1
