subsection
1,
paragraph
i,
Code

is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

i.
(1)
The
payor
shall
promptly
notify
the
court
or
the

child
support
recovery
unit
when
the
obligor’s
employment
or
4
other
income
terminates,
and
provide
the
obligor’s
last
known
5
address
and
the
name
and
address
of
the
obligor’s
new
employer,
6
if
known.

(2)
The
obligor
shall
notify
the
court
or
the
child
support
8
recovery
unit,
within
five
business
days
following
termination
9
of
the
obligor’s
employment
or
other
income,
and
provide
the
10
obligor’s
last
known
address
and
the
name
and
address
of
the
11
obligor’s
new
employer,
if
known.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
that,
with
reference
to
income
16
withholding
of
support
payments
for
the
payment
of
a
child
17
support
obligation
which
is
applicable
to
all
child
support
18
orders,
a
child
support
obligor
shall
notify
the
court
or
the
19
child
support
recovery
unit
within
five
business
days
following
20
termination
of
the
obligor’s
employment
or
other
income,
and
21
provide
the
obligor’s
last
known
address
and
the
name
and
22
address
of
the
obligor’s
new
employer,
if
known.
