H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 123.178B, Code 2017, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 5. A person holding a class “C” native wine 3 permit and a class “A” wine permit whose primary purpose is 4 manufacturing native wine may purchase alcoholic liquor from a 5 class “E” liquor control licensee for sale at retail. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill concerns the sale of alcoholic liquor by native 10 wineries. 11 Code section 123.178B is amended to allow a person holding a 12 class “C” native wine permit and a class “A” native wine permit 13 to purchase alcoholic liquor from a class “E” liquor control 14 licensee for sale at retail. 15 -1- LSB 2073HC (1) 87 ec/nh 1/ 1
