H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 99B.5, subsection 2, Code 2018, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 2. Except as provided by subsection 1 , a participant in 3 an activity authorized by this chapter may make payment by 4 cash, personal check, money order, bank check, cashier’s check, 5 electronic check, credit card, or debit card. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill provides that except for social gambling, 10 registered amusement devices, and amusement concessions not at 11 a permanent location, a participant in an activity otherwise 12 authorized by Code chapter 99B may make payment by credit card. 13 -1- LSB 6180YC (2) 87 ec/rn 1/ 1
