H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 35B.6, subsection 2, Code 2017, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . c. Neither a county board of supervisors 3 nor a county commission of veteran affairs shall place the 4 administration of the duties of the county commission of 5 veteran affairs under any other agency of any county. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill provides that neither a county board of 10 supervisors nor a county commission of veteran affairs shall 11 place the administration of the duties of the county commission 12 of veteran affairs under any other agency of any county. 13 -1- LSB 2008YC (2) 87 ec/rj 1/ 1
