H.F. 459 Section 1. Section 466B.31, subsection 2, paragraph a, Code 1 2017, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 2 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (20) One member selected by a council 3 of watershed management authority boards created pursuant to 4 section 466B.24. 5 EXPLANATION 6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 8 This bill adds a member selected by a council of watershed 9 management authority boards to the voting membership of the 10 watershed planning advisory council. 11 Under current Code section 466B.22, two or more political 12 subdivisions may enter into a Code chapter 28E agreement to 13 create a watershed management authority that is required to be 14 governed by a board of directors. 15 -1- LSB 2450YH (6) 87 sr/sc/rj 1/ 1
