UNIVERSITIES.
The
state
board
of
regents
shall
freeze
the
2
resident
undergraduate,
graduate,
and
professional
tuition
3
rates
imposed
by
the
institutions
of
higher
learning
governed
4
by
the
board
during
the
2017-2018
academic
year
at
the
5
resident
undergraduate,
graduate,
and
professional
tuition
6
rates
approved
by
the
board
on
December
2,
2015,
for
such
7
institutions
for
the
2016-2017
academic
year.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
state
board
of
regents
to
freeze
the

resident
undergraduate,
graduate,
and
professional
tuition

rates
imposed
by
the
regents
universities
during
the
2017-2018

academic
year
at
the
resident
undergraduate,
graduate,

and
professional
tuition
rates
the
board
approved
for
the
16
universities
for
the
2016-2017
academic
year.
