as
set
out
in

U.S.C.

for
payment
of
rental
deposits
and
rental
application

fees
and
for
reimbursement
of
costs
associated
with
obtaining

records
needed
for
obtaining
rental
housing.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
moneys
in
the
veterans
trust
fund
may
11
be
expended,
upon
a
majority
vote
of
the
state
commission
of
12
veterans
affairs,
for
rental
housing
assistance
for
homeless
13
veterans
for
the
payment
of
rental
deposits,
rental
application
14
fees,
and
costs
associated
with
obtaining
records
needed
to
15
secure
rental
housing.
