1.
Section
321.210B,
subsection
12,
Code
2017,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

12.
A
person
is
eligible
to
enter
into
five
installment
3
agreements
in
the
person’s
lifetime.
There
shall
be
no
minimum
4
delinquent
amount
required
to
be
owed
by
a
person
for
the
5
person
to
be
eligible
to
enter
into
an
installment
agreement
6
under
this
section.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
9
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

Code
section
321.210B
provides
that
if
a
person’s
fine,
11
penalty,
surcharge,
or
court
cost
is
deemed
delinquent
and
the
12
person’s
driver’s
license
has
been
suspended,
the
person
may
13
execute
an
installment
agreement
with
the
county
attorney,
14
the
county
attorney’s
designee,
or
the
private
collection
15
designee
under
contract
with
the
judicial
branch
to
pay
the
16
delinquent
amount.
This
bill
provides
that
there
shall
be
no
17
minimum
delinquent
amount
required
to
be
owed
by
a
person
for
18
the
person
to
be
eligible
to
enter
into
such
an
installment
19
agreement.
