BED
TRACKING
SYSTEM.
The
department
of
human

services
shall
amend
its
administrative
rules
pursuant
to

chapter
17A
to
require
the
state
mental
health
institutes
4
and
hospitals
licensed
to
provide
inpatient
psychiatric
5
treatment
and
services
to
participate
in
the
psychiatric
bed
6
tracking
system
and
to
report
the
number
of
beds
available
for
7
persons
with
a
co-occurring
mental
illness
and
substance
abuse
8
disorder.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

members

This
bill
relates
to
facilities
licensed
