1.
NEW
SECTION
.
147.77
Waivers
and
variances
——
1
report
——
posting
online.

The
board
for
each
of
the
professions
designated
in
3
section
147.13
shall
post
a
report
on
the
board’s
internet
4
site
regarding
waivers
and
variances
granted
by
the
board
as
5
provided
in
section
17A.9A.
The
report
shall
include
for
each
6
waiver
or
variance
the
date
the
waiver
or
variance
was
granted,
7
a
citation
of
the
rule
or
rules
containing
the
requirements
8
being
waived
or
varied,
a
description
of
the
subject
matter
9
of
the
rules,
the
duration
of
the
waiver
or
variance,
and
10
a
description
of
the
rationale
for
granting
the
waiver
or
11
variance.
The
report
shall
be
continually
updated
when
a
12
waiver
or
variance
is
granted
by
the
board.
Each
board
shall
13
adopt
rules
pursuant
to
chapter
17A
to
administer
this
section.

Sec.
2.
DIRECTIVE
TO
BOARDS
——
RULEMAKING.
The
board
for
15
each
of
the
professions
designated
in
section
147.13
shall
16
submit
a
notice
of
intended
action
for
the
adoption
of
rules
17
to
implement
section
147.77,
as
enacted
in
this
Act,
to
the
18
administrative
rules
coordinator
and
the
administrative
code
19
editor
pursuant
to
section
17A.4,
subsection
1,
paragraph
“a”,
20
not
later
than
three
business
days
after
the
first
meeting
of
21
the
board
held
at
least
three
business
days
after
the
effective
22
date
of
this
Act.

Sec.
3.
EFFECTIVE
DATE.
This
Act,
being
deemed
of
immediate
24
importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.

EXPLANATION
26
The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
27
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
board
for
each
of
the
medical
29
professions
designated
in
Code
section
147.13
to
post
a
report
30
on
the
board’s
internet
site
regarding
waivers
and
variances
31
granted
by
the
board
as
provided
in
Code
section
17A.9A.
The

bill
specifies
the
content
of
the
report
and
requires
that
the
33
report
be
continually
updated.

The
bill
requires

board
