instructors

annual
report.

1.
The
board
of
directors
of
each
school
district
shall
3
compile
statistics
and
data
relating
to
physical
education
4
classes
and
instruction
offered
by
the
school
district
as
a
5
whole
and
by
attendance
center,
as
appropriate,
in
a
format
6
as
determined
by
the
department
of
education,
which
shall
be
7
submitted
annually
to
the
department
as
a
component
of
the
8
comprehensive
school
improvement
plan
submitted
pursuant
to
9
section
256.7,
subsection
21,
paragraph
“a”
.
The
department
10
shall
make
the
information
submitted
in
the
reports
publicly
11
available
and
searchable
by
school
district
and
attendance
12
center
on
the
department’s
internet
site.

2.
Each
school
district
report
required
under
subsection
1
14
shall
include
all
of
the
following
information:

a.
The
number
of
physical
education
classes
offered
at
16
each
attendance
center
in
the
school
district,
detailed
by
the
17
number
of
days,
classes,
and
minutes
offered
each
week
by
each
18
attendance
center.

b.
The
ratio
of
students
enrolled
in
physical
education
20
classes
in
the
school
district
compared
to
the
overall
21
enrollment.

c.
The
average
physical
education
class
size
at
each
23
attendance
center
in
the
school
district.
24
d.
The
number
of
practitioners,
as
defined
in
section
272.1,
25
in
the
school
district
who
teach
physical
education
and
who
are
26
endorsed
to
teach
physical
education,
arranged
by
credential
27
and
grade
levels
taught.

e.
Whether
each
attendance
center
in
the
school
district
has
29
the
appropriate
equipment
and
adequate
facilities
for
students
30
to
engage
in
the
amount
of
physical
activity
required
under
31
section
256.11
or
required
under
rules
adopted
by
the
state

board
of
education
to
implement
section
256.11.

Whether
the
school
district
permits
modifications
or
