H.F. 2223 Section 1. Section 483A.24, Code 2018, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 14A. A person may fish on a private lake 3 or pond without a license if the person first obtains consent 4 to fish on the lake or pond from the owner or lessee of the 5 premises on which the private lake or pond is located. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill allows a person to fish on a private lake or pond 10 without a license.
