NEW SECTION . 280.5A Posting child abuse hotline 1 telephone number. 2 The board of directors of each public school district and 3 the authorities in charge of each nonpublic school shall post 4 at each attendance center in a clearly visible location in a 5 public area that is readily accessible to students a sign that 6 contains the toll-free child abuse telephone hotline number 7 operated by the department of human services. 8 EXPLANATION 9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 11 This bill requires public schools and nonpublic schools to 12 post at each attendance center in a clearly visible location 13 in a public area that is readily accessible to students a sign 14 that contains the toll-free child abuse telephone hotline 15 number operated by the department of human services. 16 -1- LSB 5140YH (1) 87 hmb/rj 1/ 1
