H.F. 131 Section 1. Section 35A.13, subsection 6, Code 2017, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . n. Housing assistance. 3 EXPLANATION 4 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 5 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 6 This bill provides that moneys in the veterans trust fund 7 may be expended, upon a majority vote of the state commission 8 of veterans affairs, for housing assistance for the benefit of 9 veterans and the spouses and dependents of veterans. 10 -1- LSB 1184YH (2) 87 ec/rj 1/ 1
