S.F. _____ H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 22.7, Code 2016, is amended by adding the 1 following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 68. The evidence of public employee 3 support for the certification or decertification of an employee 4 organization as defined in section 20.3 that is submitted to 5 the public employment relations board as provided in sections 6 20.14 and 20.15. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill amends Code section 22.7, concerning confidential 11 public records, to provide that evidence submitted to the 12 public employment relations board of public employee support 13 for the certification or decertification of an employee 14 organization is considered a confidential public record. 15 -1- LSB 5113DP (2) 86 ec/sc 1/ 1
