S.F. _____ Section 1. Section 8A.311A, Code 2015, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 4. If, pursuant to a master contract 3 established by the department, the department receives any 4 refund, rebate, or other financial incentive for a purchase of 5 a good or service pursuant to that contract, the department 6 shall provide that the agency or governmental subdivision 7 purchasing under that contract receive any refund, rebate, 8 or financial incentive, or pro rata portion thereof, as 9 applicable, received by the department for that purchase. 10 EXPLANATION 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 12 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 13 This bill requires the department of administrative services 14 to provide any state agency or governmental subdivision 15 purchasing a good or service under a master contract 16 established by the department with any refund, rebate, or 17 financial incentive, or pro rata portion thereof, received by 18 the department for that purchase. 19 -1- LSB 2077XC (2) 86 ec/nh 1/ 1
