S.F. 94 Section 1. Section 455D.9, subsection 1, Code 2015, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . d. When the yard waste is collected for 3 disposal by a sanitary landfill that operates a methane 4 collection system that produces energy. 5 EXPLANATION 6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 8 Currently, disposal of yard waste in a sanitary landfill is 9 prohibited except in three specific circumstances.
