S.F. 436 Section 1. PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION BIDDING —— LEGISLATIVE 1 STUDY. The legislative council is requested to establish a 2 legislative interim study committee during the 2015 legislative 3 interim to review and make recommendations concerning the 4 competitive bidding law of this state. The study committee 5 shall consider the status of current law, identify concerns or 6 problems related to current law, and consider alternatives or 7 alterations to current law. The study committee may require 8 the cooperation of state and local government entities in 9 conducting the study. 10 EXPLANATION 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 12 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 13 This bill requests the legislative council to establish a 14 legislative interim study committee during the 2015 legislative 15 interim to review and make recommendations concerning the 16 competitive bidding law of this state.
