UPON
ENACTMENT.
This
Act,
being
deemed
of

immediate
importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.

This
bill
makes
changes
to
moneys
appropriated
from
the

general
fund
of
the
state
to
the
department
of
education
for

deposit
in
the
school
ready
children
grants
account
of
the

early
childhood
Iowa
fund
created
in
Code
section
256I.11
for
19
general
aid
and
for
purposes
of
the
school
ready
children
20
grant
program
created
in
Code
section
256I.9
for
FY
2014-2015.

The
bill
eliminates
separate
appropriations
for
general
22
aid,
preschool
tuition
assistance,
and
family
support
and
23
parent
education,
and
combines
all
appropriations
into
one
24
appropriation
for
deposit
in
the
school
ready
children
grants
25
account
of
the
early
childhood
Iowa
fund.
26
The
bill
is
effective
upon
enactment.
