PHARMACY
RULES.
The
board

of
pharmacy
shall
adopt
rules
pursuant
to
chapter
17A
relating
3
to
hospital
and
long-term
care
pharmacy
practices
that
allow,
4
as
authorized
by
federal
law,
that
in
addition
to
influenza
5
and
pneumococcal
polysaccharide
vaccines,
a
written
or
verbal
6
patient-specific
medication
administration
order
shall
not
7
be
required
prior
to
administration
to
an
adult
patient
of
8
pneumococcal
conjugate
vaccine
pursuant
to
physician-approved
9
hospital
or
facility
policy
and
after
the
patient
has
been
10
assessed
for
contraindications.

This
bill
directs
the
board
of
pharmacy
to
adopt
rules
